Компания TMPG представила обновленную версию популярного кодировщика и редактора видеофайлов TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress, который, благодаря множеству усовершенствованных и новых возможностей, стал вдвое мощнее и функциональнее, по сравнению с прошлыми версиями. Fixed DivX file output format non-standard parameters fixes:
--Non-compliant HDTV profile macroblock maximum limit in interlaced and progressive mode has been corrected;
--It is now possible to select an other aspect ratio than 1:1 in Home theatre profile;
--It is now possible to select the bidirectionnal encoding (B frame output) when using a profile with interlaced mode video type;
--It is no longer possible to select GMC/Quarterpixel search when using a profile;
--You can no longer select a non-compliant audio bitrate;
--A problem with some of the standard audio bitrate value selection has been fixed.
