WinRK - Мощный, коммерческий архиватор для Microsoft Windows. Разработан Новозеландской компанией M Software. WinRK поддерживает собственный проприетарный формат RK, а также форматы ZIP, GZip, Bzip2, Tar, RAR и ISO и др. Тесты показывают, что WinRK обеспечивает самое сильное сжатие среди программ в своём классе. Однако из-за лицензий и отсутствия поддержки ОС, кроме Microsoft Windows, формат RK проигрывает в популярности ZIP, RAR и 7-Zip. При максимальных настройках сжатия жмёт очень (!) медленно (как и PAQ).

Легко обходит KGB Archiver (основанный на устаревшем PAQ6). Имеет специальные фильтры для сжатия графических (BMP) и аудио (WAV) файлов. при максимальных настройках архиватор действительно жмёт очень хорошо (лучше популярных RAR и 7-zip). В большинстве тестов архиваторов он делит 1-2 места с PAQ (это консольный архиватор), но обладает графическим интерфейсом. Но при этом очень медленно и запаковывает, и распаковывает. Поэтому не рекомендую использовать его для важных данных.
